Nursing assistant is a formal position, but you must go through training and assessment before being accepted. Since last week, in my volunteer hospital, photos and profiles of CNAs have been posted on the wall of the hospital corridor near the staff cafeteria. The profile contains a lot of content, which allows colleagues to deepen their understanding of them and take this opportunity to learn more about them. Thanks for their hard work!
The job of a nursing assistant is to assist nurses in caring for patients and is responsible for the patient's daily routine and routine testing, such as taking blood pressure. Nursing assistants work between patients and nurses. Patients do not need family escorts after admission, and outsiders are not allowed to take special care of the patients. Therefore, as long as the patient enters the hospital, the hospital is responsible for everything about the patient. Except for visits and some disease discussions with family members, family members do not need to participate until the patient is discharged. It can be seen that the work of a nursing assistant is also an important part.
Regardless of the patient type, nurses and assistants are the ones who deal with the most. Upon patients' admission, there is a registration front desk who enters patient information into the computer, and a nurse assistant who performs routine examinations. After that, nurses will judge the condition and organize the data, and there will also be laboratory staff who will draw blood for examination, or people who will take fluoroscopy and electrocardiogram, all of which will prepare the doctor for a treatment plan. The doctor will give treatment plans and write medical orders based on various test results. Every day in the hospital morning, there is a routine check-up. Three meals a day are delivered to the patient from the kitchen. Of course, nutritionists and doctors are also involved in food selection. Regardless of surgery or not, there are also jobs as a rehabilitation therapist. During this period, clergy from the hospital will also come to visit, regardless of faith. Patients enjoy the pleasure of being managed in the hospital, and everything is taken care of.
People depend on society, and they should contribute to society. No one can escape illness. It is also a fact that if you take care of others today, you will be taken care of in the future.
